Osteopathy
Osteopathy works on the body`s structure including the skeleton, ligaments, muscles and connective tissue. The focus is on the overall health of the body by concentrating on the structure of the body and regular maintenance. The philosophy is "structure governs function" meaning tension or strain in one area may effect the entire health of the person.
Osteopathy employs a wide range of manipulative techniques from stretching, massage, pressure, and precise maneuvers depending on the part of the body being treated.
Osteopathy has been seen to be effective in the treatment of back pain, sciatica, muscular or joint pain, headache, sinuses, digestive or respiratory difficulties, aches and pains and recurrent injuries.
