As we move into the new Gregorian calendar, the Rave Year is still coming to a close. Just as we are still shedding in the closing of the Year of the Snake, we are not yet in the Year of the Horse.
The Rave Year begins mid-January, when the Sun transits Gate 41, when we begin a new experiential cycle. Gate 41 is a Root Centre fuel that initiates new diversity of experiences for humanity. Part of the Collective Circuitry, this pathway is about having the experience and sharing it for the benefit and wisdom of the collective.
Now, before we get to the Rave New Year, we have business to close off first.
The Last stages of the Year
The Rave Year begins when the Sun transits Gate 41. Ra Uru Hu, who Human Design was revealed to, shared there are four stages before the new Rave Year. These are the four Gates in the Mandala Wheel before 41 – Gate 38 (Opposition), Gate 54 (The Marrying Maiden), Gate 61 (Inner Truth), and 60 (Limitation).

As I began this post, it was already Stage 1, the first line of Gate 38 actually. Line 1 is the foundation line and what the Gate is about.
It’s interesting to note that all four of these Gates are pressure/fuel Gates. All of them are in the Root Centre, aside from Gate 61, which is in the Head Centre.
We begin the wrap up with Gate 38, a Gate from the Individual Circuitry, and specifically a Deaf Gate. People with Individual Circuitry are not here to be influenced as they are here to express who they are. Some deafness and stubbornness helps. Gate 38 is part of the Channel of Struggle. The energy of the fighter provides the fuel for those with this Channel to persevere to discover what brings meaning to their life. Interference and conformity have a great negative impact.
Remember, as the Sun transits a Gate, we also have the Earth in the Gate opposite to it on the Mandala. The Earth is how we ground the energy of the Sun and of ourselves.
38 (Sun) – 39 (Earth). 54 (Sun) – 53 (Earth). 61 (Sun) – 62 (Earth). 60 (Sun) – 56 (Earth).
39 is Obstruction, Gate of Provocation.
53 is Development, Gate of Beginnings.
62 is Preponderance of the Small, Gate of Giving Things Their Names.
56 is Wanderer, Gate of Stimulation.
Gates 39 and 53 are in the Root Centre and Gates 62 and 56 are in the Throat Centre.
End of Year Contemplation
Here are some questions for contemplation. Allow the mind to marinate and see what insights and awareness arise. Awareness, however, is not a call for action. Decisions, for us, are not made from the mind.
- What is in tune or out of tune in your life?
- Where are you out of alignment with who you truly are? What are some of your automatic and reflexive behaviour?
- Are we driven by greed and power, a sense of lack of control, and do we push for advancements, driven from fears, especially homogenized fears?
- Do we allow the Sage within to walk and allow our inner truth to guide us through situations over which we feel we have little control?
- Do you believe in the divine, in something beyond the mundane?
- Are you comfortable not knowing, allowing the truth to arrive?
- Can you enjoy the mystery?
- Are you afraid of your inner truth?
- Do you allow others their inner truth?
- How do you approach other people, challenges, passions, and life?
- Do you accept that there are limitations? First we see them, then we may transcend them.
- Are you comfortable with that things are so, then all of the sudden, there is change? Organic change is not something we can force.
- Are you able to enjoy the now, and let go of planning change?
We are moving into the last year before the Global Cycle shifts. Each Global Cycle has a different background frequency. We are moving from a Tribal (bargains, support) to an Individual (self-expression, empowerment) energy. There is also a mutation in the Solar Plexus becoming a pure Awareness centre for some. It will remain a motor for those born before the new Global Cycle. However, this is new territory and we will wait and see how we are impacted and conditioned.
